About the Role
Ruimsig Academy is seeking a dedicated and suitably qualified Physics and Science Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will teach Science to Grade 8 and Grade 9 learners, as well as Physics at Cambridge IGCSE and AS Level. The role requires an educator who can deliver engaging and academically rigorous lessons while developing learners’ scientific understanding, problem-solving abilities and practical application of scientific concepts. The successful candidate will support learner progress through effective assessment and feedback while maintaining a positive, structured and academically focused classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach Science to Grade 8 and Grade 9 learners.
- Teach Physics at Cambridge IGCSE and AS Level.
- Plan and deliver engaging, academically rigorous lessons.
- Develop learners’ scientific knowledge and understanding.
- Support learners in developing problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Assess and monitor learner progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and academic support where required.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined and academically focused classroom.
- Contribute to departmental collaboration and wider school activities.
